Fashion Fridays: "something blue" & reasonable too!

just saw these adorable pour la victoire "stella" shoes on Martha Stewart and found them for sale here. Love that they have the colorful soles à la Louboutin without the pricetag (get these for less than $100). Upon further inspection, I see that they have a few cute options for wedding shoes & some fun eveningbags as well- ah I am a sucker for anything with ruffles!

Happy Holidays!

fashion fridays: a little girl can dream...

as i am browsing through wedding blogs, sometimes my little girls catch a glimse...  in this case, Shesby, a little lady from Haiti who stays with us when getting treatments at a local hospital,  peeks over my shoulder and says with much enthusiasm- "ooh wow, I can wear cowboy boots when I get married!"  gotta love it.

i searched etsy & alas i discovered LilaFrances. these are a perfect way to personalize those dress photos and priced so reasonably at only $25!  i can't wait to get one - how fun for a bridal shower gift!  my favorite is bride ♥ groom.  what is your fave?

Fashion Fridays, Shoes that Sparkle!

Shoes have a special place in my heart, especially fabulous sparkly ones, and lately I have been helping lots of our clients choose the perfect shoe to go with their perfect dress. As the fall and winter weddings are nearing, I have noticed that many of our brides are interested in silver and I couldn't be happier, so today I wanted to share some of my favorite silver footwear from flats to boots and beyond. Enjoy!

Fashion Fridays, Andalusia

You may know that when it comes to fashion I am bordering on the line of addiction, I absolutely cannot get enough!!! So when the opportunity to style a shoot with an amazing team arose, I was beyond excited. We worked closely with Marie Labbancz and Claudia Seyler to create a few different looks for the shoot and this high fashion editorial spread is just the beginning. Keep checking back for more images from our shoot at Andalusia.

Eventions Productions created an amazing backdrop for the evening shoot!

Thank you to Gabriella NY and Topstich Boutique for everything!

Fashion Fridays!

When we talk about bridal fashion we always talk about "The Dress" but these days, high end designers including Jason Wu and Lanvin are introducing separates into the wedding world. Net-A-Porter Wedding Boutique showcases these amazing artists along with many other inspiring designers that provide a twist on the usual. I wonder if we will see more bridal designers follow this trend? Would you wear separates on your wedding day?
