Real Wedding: Camille + David=Spring Forward!

On the first anniversary of a special couple, Camille + David, I wanted to share photos by the talented Annie Hosfeld.  I was honored to work with this bride to plan her wedding in just a few short months.  The couple had an amazing story of how they took their first date on daylight savings Fall back a few years ago, then in 2010, David proposed on Fall back.  They knew they wanted to a winter wedding, so what better night than daylight savings Spring forward?  The wedding took place in the beautiful Rose Garden Ballroom on the 19th floor of Philadelphia's Hyatt at the Bellevue, with their gorgeous couples photos at XIX.   Naturally, we tied in the whole clock change idea throughout the concept by incorporating vintage clocks and imagery.  We even used pocket watch necklaces as the favor.  As always, Nancy Saam did an amazing job with the flowers!

jaw dropping gorgeous fundraiser!

I have been reading about events for so long now that it is not so frequently that I see photos that really make my heart pitterpatter. This mother/daughter tea fundraiser  that I saw on Amy Atlas' awesome blog, is so gorgeous that I just had to share here. Check out the house in the background- SO amazing! You can see a full story here .

etsy shop- A Remark You Made

Every Wednesday, I am going to celebrate hump day with a fun find etsy shop. There are so many creative and talented sellers on etsy, and a lot of my real life friends are not familiar with etsy at all, so I thought it could be fun to share them here.

So to start, I have found A Remark You Made . I wish I had found them a bit sooner because these bark card holders would have been perfect for a rustic wedding we just designed...

They also have a plethora of natural wooden buttons that could be fun for numerous projects including these very cute napkin rings with burlap & wood.

Lastly, I thought these ice breaker conversation starters could be cute for a hostess gift or even on the table at a shower.

dressing up invitations with vintage stamps

I have adored the idea of mixing old stamps in your color scheme for some time. I just came across this etsy seller -Verde Studio - that simplifies the concept by selling the stamps in color coordinated groups.  This could be a colorful way to make your invitations, save-the-dates, or thank you notes extra special!  You could also always go the DIY route and scour ebay for the right combo.

John Derian for Target on Gilt this Friday!

John Derian is a decoupage artist in NYC that is teaming up with Target for the 3rd time to bring his high-end line of tableware & stationery to the masses at a reasonable pricepoint (most pieces will be under $25). These pieces could be fun for a wedding display or for home decor & Gilt is having a flash pre-sale on Friday at noon. So get the goods before they become available at Target stores in early September (last time they were really hard to find in Philly). If you don't have a gilt account- get one here.
