Month of Love!

I love everything Valentine's Day, much to my husbands dismay, and wanted to share some of the fun finds both from local vendors and also from those far and wide. 13 days and counting...keep checking in for great gift, craft and card ideas for your someone special!

Real Wedding: Caroline & Joe

December weddings are so much fun and we had the chance to work with one AMAZING bride who brought so much energy and enthusiasm to the planning process. Besides being gorgeous, she is also extremely smart and has great style. Oh, did I mention she was also the captain of the Eagles cheerleading team!  Caroline had some great details from the opera singers at her ceremony to her and Joe's choreographed first dance, the guests were entertained from start to finish.  We also got to work with some of Philadelphia's best wedding professionals.  The reception was at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in the Landmark Building, the dramatic flowers were done by none other then the talented team at Beautiful Blooms, and the beautiful photos that captured the evening were shoot by Faith West.   We hope you enjoy!!!

My favorite part was the vintage fur wraps that she collected for all of her bridesmaids. What a great bridesmaid gift. Drool! 

She wore a fabulous Carolina Herrera gown that she picked up at Kleinfield in NYC, the gold beading was to die for.

It was a huge Eagles cheerleaders reunion. They performed the fight song and everyone went crazy. Never have I seen so many beautiful women together in one room! Doesn't Caroline's maid to the right look like Jessica Simpson? I thought she was so cute.

For their favors we made custom boxes of gourmet hot chocolate with homemade marshmallows. Each stripe of paper looked like lace cut by hand.  Martha would be proud!

Moda Botanica Rocks

Wednesday night I went to the Philadelphia Wedding Project party at Washington Square where I ran into Bailey Hale who is an amazingly talented florist. I had the privilege of working with him a few years ago at a La Dolce Vita inspired event at Boyds in Philadelphia and I am happy to announce that he has now started his own floral design company with two other talented designers called Moda Botanica. They create some of the most unique designs for all types of events and also have a storefront at 13th and Pine. Make sure to check out their blog and stop in the shop to see what they are up to next.

Reading Terminal Market Rehearsal

There have been so many changes at Innove in the last month and I apologize deeply for the lack of posts!!! I hope you will forgive me. We will be launching a new site and blog in December and hope that you will enjoy it as much as I do. We also have more exciting news..so make sure to stay tuned.

Along with all of the changes we have been making we were also very busy with events and wanted to share with you one of our favorites. You may remember my post a few months ago about the Reading Terminal Market, well the party took place October 2nd and we had such a great time putting this rehearsal dinner for 150 together. The inspiration for the event was to try and utilize the market for every element of the party. All of the decor with the exception of some of the containers came from within the market and we were able to work with the food vendors to create a menu that was local and mostly sustainable. It was a really fun challenge and I loved the outcome which was captured by the talented Emily and Cassidy from Wren & Field Photography.
