Yes We Did, Part Two!

We kicked off the inaugural celebration with a bang at the "Yes We Did" party on January 19th, in Washington D.C. The party took place at the Washington Plaza Hotel, and we were absolutely delighted to share this occasion with close to 1,200 guests! The Pennsylvania fare of mini cheese steaks and warm pretzels, set the tone for a festive cocktail party. Tribeca Grand and Sister Sledge rocked the house with energetic performances and Broadway for Obama, a children's ensemble, added a youthful spirit to the evening. The party was a success and we had a great time. We were so excited to meet Maria Cooke, from Ritzy Bee who stopped by before the event to wish us luck. A special thanks to Janie Medley, for creating amazing flower arrangements, including the cutest customized stationary for the "Yes We Did" tree that graced the entrance to the party. Also a huge thanks to Laura Luis from Three Lights Photography, for taking beautiful pictures of the event. We look forward to many more events with you guys! Here are some pictures from the party.

P.S. - This weekend I am hosting a "Tea Party" themed baby shower in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I will make sure to post pictures!

Have a great weekend!

We have been working on planning the "Yes We Did" party which is taking place on Monday, January 19th in Washington, DC at the Washington Plaza Hotel. We are honored to have Janie Medley from The Bride's Cafe designing the floral arrangements for the event! She has created amazing designs for the both the ballroom and a private party held before the main event. We are so looking forward to working with her on this event and hopefully many more in the future!

The party is going to be a blast with performances by Sister Sledge, Tribeca Grand, and various speeches including one from Pennsylvania's own, Sharon Stone. Check out the website to see more details about this event and others leading up to the big day!

Winter Wedding, Nashat & Vinodh

On December 20, 2008, Nashat and Vinodh had an absolutely beautiful winter wedding at the Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia. I had the priviledge of working with the couple to design custom stationery for their big day. Nashat and I worked closely on their save the dates all the way through to their wedding programs and escort cards. She wanted the colors to be inspired by the icy winter wonderland that Nancy Saam was creating for their reception with crystalized branches and candle light. We had so much fun working together and I am so happy to share a few photos from their wedding with you. To see more photos of their wedding check out Marie Labbancz's blog. Also, stop by the Innove Paper Blog to see more details on Nashat and Vinohd's stationery.

Happy New Year from Innove!

Well, 2008 has come and gone and we are looking forward to an exciting 2009! We have a lot of great events coming up this spring and are looking forward to sharing them with you. I was just in Arizona on vacation and came across the most amazing venue for a wedding, you have to check it out! Boojum Tree offers beautiful hidden gardens to have your wedding ceremony and an amazing courtyard for your cocktails and reception. I think Arizona would be a fun place for a destination wedding. There are so many things to do and see!

Have a great Tuesday and we will see you tomorrow!
