The Knot Feature

We are so excited to have one of our couples' weddings featured in the latest issue of The Knot. Tara and Patrick's wedding took place in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania in the spring of 2008. The theme of the wedding was centered around the Star of Bethlehem and the image was incorporated throughout the wedding. Melody drew the star on each program and small star ornaments were given as favors to each guest. Check out the details at the knot.com or pick up the lasted issue to read more.

New Office Design

Hey Everyone,

In October, Innove, added a 2nd location in Manayunk at the Mills Studios. I have been working on ideas for the space but with events in October and November I haven't had much time to nail down the right design, so now I am really getting down to business. The space is a small artist studio, surrounded by artists and a ton of great photographers, Susan Beard Design is right down stairs and John Kevin Gallagher is also in the building. I absolutely love looking through Elle Decor and Domino to get ideas for furnture, color palette and wall coverings....I love so many things it is sometimes tough to narrow it down to one specific look. I have pulled images from magazines and some of my favorite websites....I would love to hear what you have to say.

Inspiration Board:::Time for Tea

I am hosting a baby shower for a friend of mine in January. She recently found out she is having a girl, after having two boys, so I really want the theme to be girlie! I started looking around for images to inspire the theme and I decided after much thought that an afternoon tea party would be so much fun. What is more girlie than a tea party! Check out the inspiration board that I created to help with the overall design of the soiree. If you have any ideas for the shower I would love to hear them. REAL WEDDING:::Christie+Brian

I had a lot of fun working with Christie & Brian this summer in Lehigh Valley! They were going for a Lily Pullitzer inspired preppy look, we did all of the stationery & helped with decor ideas too. The bride & her mom were a great source of wonderful ideas!

I was blown-away by the gorgeous cake created by Maria Nunley- all of those flowers are painstakingly made with sugar paste!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I am not much of a cook but I set one mean table! I love this table setup, it is so simple and warm.
Pumpkin pie, can I say more....I live for this!
I love burning cinnamon sticks over the stove, it makes the whole house smell amazing.

MY WEDDING: Beka & Jesse the finale!

After the ceremony was over it was time to party! Peachtree and Ward created an amazing menu including some of our favorite family reciptes such as "Midge's Now Famous Onion Rings" and "Aunt Chris' Mac & Cheese". Jesse and I love family style meals and wanted our guests to feel at home. All of the details of the day were perfect from the flowers to the lighting and draping, I wouldn't have done it any other way. Hope you enjoy the details of the wedding as much as I did.

MY WEDDING: Beka & Jesse continued....

After we toured around Harrisburg taking pictures with the bridal party it was time to get married!

My sister Rachel was my maid of honor and her amazing daughter and my adorable niece, Genevieve, was my little flower girl.

The wedding ceremony was planned to take place in the rose garden of the residence but with threatening skies we moved it inside and created a last minute backdrop...thanks so much to everyone who helped!

MY WEDDING: Beka & Jesse continued...

After a fun morning of getting ready, Jesse and I had planned on seeing each other before the wedding so we could take our time getting photos as a couple and with our families and bridal party. As soon as Marie saw the grand staircase in the Governor's Residence she knew right away that is where she wanted us to see each other for the first time.

We had decided to take pictures on the grounds of the residence and then head to the Harrisburg train station where they have vintage train cars which we thought would be a fun background.

The last place we went was the Italian Lakes, which is a fun outdoor venue for weddings. I loved the huge lillypads in the lake!
