Here is a sneak peak of the beautiful city, if you have any favorite places to visit in Paris, I would love to hear about them. Please send me an email or post a comment.

June Farm Wedding

We were so lucky to be a part of another amazing wedding that took place in June at the bride's family farm in Oxford, PA. You may recognize the maid of honor....Erin, who we worked with in May at Congress Hall , is the sister of the bride. Although the weddings only took place a month apart, the styles were completely different so the guests had a unique experience at each event. This day was filled with surprises...

The bride's parents' farm provided a fairy tale setting for portraits and the weather was absolutely gorgeous.

The bridesmaids, Chelsea's sister Erin and Gary's sister Eva, looked stunning in red among the green backdrop of the farm! Here are the girls taking a stroll through the stables.

The day of the wedding Gary and his groomsmen were go-carting on the property. The two groomsmen flipped their go-cart and ended up being sent to the hospital! It was not pretty and a bit stressful but made for some hysterical photos taken by Mike Kehr as the bride and groom's parents helped the guys get dressed!!

The groomsmen made it back literally 30 minutes before the ceremony, bruised and bandaged!

Nancy Saam created simple, stunning centerpieces that dressed up the ballroom at the

while NYC Photobooth provided pictures for the guestbook!

I absolutely loved the wedding cake.
Bredenbeck's captured the couple's personal style perfectly!

Weekend Events

Have any fun plans for the weekend? If not here are a few fun things to do around Philly and beyond.

As you know we absolutely love Terrain and are always posting events when they come up but this weekend is even better, they are having a huge blowout sale!!! If you are planning a party or just wanting to spruce up your yard, you must make a trip out to Chaddsford to visit the store.

If you are in the mood for a little mystery the amazing Cirque Du Soleil is performing Alegria this Sunday at the Wachovia Center. There are still tickets available so make sure to get them fast, you will not be sorry!

If you want a break from the Philly heat, head down to Ocean City, NJ for a Night in Venice. Night in Venice is one of the largest boat parades in the world! The parade kicks off at 7:30 PM on Saturday, July 25 from the foot of the Longport Bridge to Tennessee Ave on the Bay.

The Modern Cocktail Soiree

I am back after a much needed visit with my family in Florida and am so excited to share some amazing images from the Modern Cocktail Soiree that I hosted with Elan Artists, Table ArtEventions Productions and Stephen Starr Events two weeks ago. The night was perfect, the weather could not have been better for our evening fete at Washington Square Restaurant, a venue that is now available for private rentals, it is a must see if you are planning a small wedding or a hip rehearsal dinner.

The outdoor space at Washington Square was the perfect place for guests to lounge and take in the sounds of Taylor MacFerrin

A huge thanks to everyone who participated!!

After the Ceremony

Laura Novak, an extremely talented local photographer, recently released her first book, "After the Ceremony " and we couldn't be happier for her and her team.

Laura got the idea for this innovative publication after discovering the many amazing wedding books are devoted to design and décor, but none that tell the story of those dynamic wedding moments captured through photography. Each personal account focuses on a single image that tells the story of that couple's wedding in a very personal way.

Laura's book is available on Amazon.com $10 from the sale of every copy goes to the Avon Foundation, a fantastic non-profit Foundation focuses on women's issues and funds a variety of causes.

Make sure to check out Laura's new book on Amazon! Congratulations Laura!

The Look!

Everyone has their favorite part of a wedding whether it is the food, the dancing, the decor..I love all of that too but the most amazing part of any couple's wedding is when they give each other "the look." Sometimes this happens before the ceremony during photos or when the bride is walking down the aisle or maybe once the events have ended and they are able to spend that moment together & the realize that they picked one another. After planning so many weddings, this is one of those things that I will never get tired of seeing at the wedding or in their photographs after the wedding. I go through a ton of proofs from photographers and there is always one of these monumental shots that the couple will go back to and it will truly give them chills and will bring them back to the moment. I thought it would be fun to share some of those intimate moments with you!

If you have any shots like this from your own wedding I would love to see them!!!!

Thanks to Laura Novak, Sarah Dicicco and Laura Leigh for this great photos!
