MY WEDDING: Beka & Jesse the finale!

After the ceremony was over it was time to party! Peachtree and Ward created an amazing menu including some of our favorite family reciptes such as "Midge's Now Famous Onion Rings" and "Aunt Chris' Mac & Cheese". Jesse and I love family style meals and wanted our guests to feel at home. All of the details of the day were perfect from the flowers to the lighting and draping, I wouldn't have done it any other way. Hope you enjoy the details of the wedding as much as I did.

I hope you enjoyed seeing pictures from my wedding! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

MY WEDDING: Beka & Jesse continued....

After we toured around Harrisburg taking pictures with the bridal party it was time to get married!

Check out a few of my favorites from the ceremony.....

My sister Rachel was my maid of honor and her amazing daughter and my adorable niece, Genevieve, was my little flower girl.

The wedding ceremony was planned to take place in the rose garden of the residence but with threatening skies we moved it inside and created a last minute backdrop...thanks so much to everyone who helped!

This picture is so Jesse! I love the expression on his face!

Check back for the finale of my favorite pics!

Best,
Beka

MY WEDDING: Beka & Jesse continued...

After a fun morning of getting ready, Jesse and I had planned on seeing each other before the wedding so we could take our time getting photos as a couple and with our families and bridal party. As soon as Marie saw the grand staircase in the Governor's Residence she knew right away that is where she wanted us to see each other for the first time.

We had decided to take pictures on the grounds of the residence and then head to the Harrisburg train station where they have vintage train cars which we thought would be a fun background.

The last place we went was the Italian Lakes, which is a fun outdoor venue for weddings. I loved the huge lillypads in the lake!

MY WEDDING: Beka & Jesse

You may have seen most of the photos from my wedding on Marie Labbancz's blog but I wanted to post the details and some of my favorite photos on the blog for you to see. We had such a wonderful time on the day of our wedding and Marie did an amazing job capturing the day. Everytime I go back through my proofs it brings me back to the day and I remember how much fun I had getting ready with my friends and spending the day with Jesse and being able to share this exciting occassion with our friends and family. It has been two months since the wedding, but the pictures make me think of it as if it were yesterday. I hope you enjoy all of the details as much as I enjoyed creating them. It was a labor of love and I am excited to share my wedding and future weddings with you!

There were so many photos that I like, so this post will have a few parts to it!!!

If you are getting married and haven't hired a hair stylist or makeup artist I would encourage you to call Claudia Seyler to see if she is available. Not only is she amazingly talented, she is also the most wonderful, beautiful, caring person! She recently got married in August and I had the privilege of working with her on her wedding day! She was the most beautiful bride!!! And you should see her daughters, they are gorgeous. Hope you enjoy some of my favorite "getting ready" photos!
See you soon with more shots from my big day!

Alison and Pete continued...

Alison and Pete's August wedding was wonderful and so full of love and laughter. The ceremony took place at the beautiful Old St. Joe's Church in Old City and the reception at the Downtown Club was a perfect location for all of their out of town guests to see a magnificent view of the city. The centerpieces by Carl Alan Creations made the room look stunning and the lighting by Eventions added the extra touch that created the perfect atmosphere for a fabulous night.

Enjoy!

My Tuscan Dinner

My idea for my rehearsal dinner was to have a Tuscan style dinner outside on the grounds at the residence with a rustic eurpoean feel. Unfortunately the weather did not cooporate so instead we brought our Tuscan dinner inside!!! Nancy Saam created amazing centerpieces for the affair that definitely represented my vision, and the menu brought the Tuscan style to life! I had such a great time researching and finding small items like the chalk boards, which I though brought a fun element into the dinner. I really wanted to give small gifts to our guests that would be able to use after the dinner to remember the night and the personalized olive oil did just that. I hope you enjoy the photos!

I was such a fun night and I am happy that I am able to share it will all of you!

I'm Married!!!

So I know it has been a little over a month since our last post but the last month has been just crazy with clients' weddings and my very own wedding! I can't believe I am married! I must say, even after planning so many weddings for all of my wonderful brides nothing can really prepare you for your own. The day was absolutely amazing, although a little hot and muggy with a few sprinkles here and there, the wedding went so smoothly. We had little last minute rain plan for the ceremony but it ended up being more intimate indoors and we didn't have to worry about the skies opening up during the ceremony. I can't wait to get all of the photos from the truly amazing, Marie Labbancz! However, I do have a few that she sent my way and I couldn't wait to post them.....please keep checking back for more!!

Enjoy!
