The date has been set...

I am so excited that we have chosen a date for our wedding. We are going to get married on September 13, 2008!!! I have started meeting with vendors and have also started to collect design ideas for linens, decor and for some of the smaller details. We are having the wedding in Harrisburg, Pa and I have found some great people to work with in the area as well as great wedding professionals that we work with all of the time.

Now the fun part!!! I am heading up to Kleinfeld Bridal Salon this weekend for the Monique Lhuillier trunk show and I can't wait to see all of the new designs. I will let you know how it goes! I hear mixed stories of the gown shopping experience from brides. Some had a great experience and are boasting about thier particular consultant and then others have told me that it was the most frustrating part of the planning process..yikes!! I hope that is not true for me!! I am really looking forward to it and if you have any advice, please share it with us.

I have found a few styles of gowns that I like and I have posted them below. I think it will be interesting to see what I like vs. what looks good on me. Well, that is all for now, wish me luck and I will tell you my tale when I return.
